Thurs. Feb. 17th, Herbert Martin, a 85 year old jazz musician that still plays in jazz clubs in the Detroit area, and I were the featured presenters at McCann Worldwide a marketing company in Birmingham MI. We were invited to speak and in my case show and talk about my work, because the company was celebrating Black History Month.
The theme was the contributions of African American Jazz musicians. Mr. Martin was an inspiration for me because he still is very passionate about his craft at the age of 85.
