I will be a vendor at the MidAtlantic Jazz festival again this year. The festival is a showcase for the Washington DC areas finest high school jazz bands, emerging and established artists, as well as touring international musicians.
Here is a partial lineup, Branford Marsalis Quartet, Detriot’s own Regina Carter, Bryan Lynch, Sean Jones, Charles McPherson, Jazz Messenger Legacy Band, featuring Geoffrey Keezer, Frank Lacy, and Ralph Peterson.
And as I mentioned many high school and local Washington DC musicians will also be performing at the festival.

What I like most about this festival is the enthusiasm of the musicians, there is a mix of older and younger musicians and the crowd feeds off their energy.
The festival is also located in a very nice Hilton Garden Hotel that we actually stay in during the festival. The whole festival is self contained.
My vendor area is in the hallway by one of the main performing stages.
My jazz mosaics fit in very nicely in this true jazz setting. This year I will be showing my new Sonny Rollins and Art Blakey mosaics along with my other mosaics and prints.
